Ncumisa Sopazi joined LvA in September 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Law) degree from the University of Fort Hare and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Laws degree with the University of South Africa. Prior to joining LvA, Ncumisa worked for Sonke Gender Justice as a Junior Trainer where she gained vast experience on community engagement and activism. She also worked as a Research Assistant with the Wits Health Consortium in a trial research conducted in Diepsloot. She joins the LvA team with a passion for gender activism and the rights of women and children. She believes there’s no single approach to reducing violence against women and children and is excited to use her experience to help bring change for the Diepsloot community.
